Clay & Calm is a little different.

While your children head off into the woodland with our qualified Forest School Leaders to climb, explore, build and create, you'll have time to slow down and make something with your own hands.

No experience needed.

No pressure to be "artistic".

Just clay, nature, creativity and a couple of hours away from the usual rush.

🏺 Make your own woodland keepsake

Your clay-making experience begins with a simple piece of clay and a little inspiration from the woodland around you.

You'll be guided through simple hand-building techniques to create your own woodland-inspired clay keepsake.

Use our collection of stamps and experiment with natural textures from the woodland — leaves, bark, seed heads and other treasures — to create something completely personal to you.

Press, shape, mark and decorate.

Add your initials or a special date.

There is no right or wrong way to make it.

The finished piece will be a little reminder of your morning at Little Ark.

While you create, your little adventurers get their own woodland experience.

With our qualified Level 3 Forest School Leaders, they'll have the freedom to:

Clay & Calm is a family experience for all ages.

Whether you're bringing little ones, older children, siblings of different ages, grandparents or simply coming along as a family, everyone is welcome.

Our Forest School activities will be adapted to suit the children attending, allowing them to explore, create and enjoy the woodland at their own level.

There’s no perfect age for getting outdoors, getting creative and spending time together.

We're heading into the woodland, so come prepared!

This is an outdoor experience, so please dress for the weather.
